Meet Gisli
From his early days at FH in Iceland to winning the Champions League with SC Magdeburg, Gísli’s journey has included new challenges, serious setbacks, and unforgettable moments at the highest level.
Today, he plays centre back for Magdeburg and the Icelandic national team. Behind the performances are years of training, learning, and finding ways to keep improving.

Gísli Academy is for young, ambitious handball players who want to improve their skills and understanding of the game. The lessons are designed to complement your regular club training and give you something practical to work on.
Yes. Whenever you join, you get access to all previously released content, plus new content every week. You can revisit everything while your membership is active.
Each week brings new video content, clear written notes, and a practical training challenge. Watch, understand the key points, and put what you learn into practice on the court or in your preparation.
It depends on the lesson. Some exercises can be practised independently, while others need a partner or court space. Each exercise will explain the equipment and setup you need.
Lessons are both available in English as well as German
Monthly membership costs €12 per month. Annual membership costs €120, paid once a year, equivalent to €10 per month. You can cancel your subscription under “My Account” after logging in to the website. Your access continues until the end of the period you’ve already paid for.
